What does BABU get from my follow, likes, comments, and shares?
- Likes, Comments, and Shares on Social Media (Facebook, etc.) are essentially currency for our page to ride the algorithm. The more follows, likes, comments, and shares received, the more relevant the page and its content are scored behind the scenes. More follows, likes, comments, and shares grant the social media pages access to be shown to more people on the platform.
This helps us in multiple ways - New people mean new potential donors or people to buy merchandise supporting the cause.
- Social media pages can ‘monetise’, meaning we get paid by the platform (especially on YouTube) in exchange for them sometimes playing adverts before/in the middle of/after our content is shown.
